Girls Circle
Girls Circle specializes in programs built on the research-based model proven to increase girls’ self-efficacy, body image, and social support. It is a strengths-based, skill building approach that creates a safe space for girls to address risky behaviors, build on protective factors, and improve relationships in a format that interests and engages girls. Girls Circle offers on-site and in-service facilitator trainings, continuing education, and professional consultation. Since 1997, the Girls Circle approach has been implemented nationwide with girls across every socio-economic, geographical, ethnic, religious population, and sexual orientation. Rated a Promising Approach by the Office of Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention.

The community service unit of the UALR School of Social Work, MidSOUTH provides leadership, training, and product support in the areas of addiction, child welfare, technology, distance learning, and organizational development.
